Five Volume control with membrane switch seat heater

1. Composition

Two heating pads, one wire harness, one controller, one five volume control membrane switch.

2. Installation

(1) First, take off the cover of the seat, then fix the pads on the back and bottom of the seat separately, put the electrode of pads through the middle gap of bottom and back to under the seat evenly.. ready for connect with controller

(2) Plug-in the two plugs from controller to the two plugs from pads under the seat, fix the controller under the seat with bond strip, fix the loose or longer cables under the seat with bond strip too, lay the cable under the carpet to the underside of fuses holder, connect with power after the membrane switch sticked.

(3) Put the membrane switch along the side of the seat, which is the side that safety belt with socket, go along the right side of the driver, left side of the side-driver, go along under the seat slide, not above the seat slide, otherwise it may press and cut off the switch wire with running failure. Take away the protection paper on the back of the membrane, stick the membrane switch at the side of safety belt, main seat is at the side near to driver, side seat is at the side near to side-driver. Stick it with correct and solid, then you start connect the power cable.

(4) The connection of power cable, First, connect the black wire to the ground line, such the position where the screw nut contact with car to assure the good touch between black wire and car. If there is a screw nut on the car and there is paint on it, you should cut off the paint first then connect the black line under the nut, the black wire should be pressed solidly and no loose. Now you may connect for red wire, to find a wire which can transmit at least 10A current under the dashboard and the diameter is at least 0.06inch and the current is 0 while car is not working, or put the red wire at the position under the fuse socket which marked 10A. The way of finding such wire, turn the multimeter to 20V, switch on the mulitimeter, connect the black pen with ground line, red pen connect the point The place you connect to should not have a voltage when the car is not working. When the car is not working there is 0V on the screen, when the car is working the voltage should be at least 12V.That means this is the right place. You may start to run the system after the wire located and red wire fixed.

3. How to use

(1). Start the car first, press the membrane switch 6 times, the indicators will be changed according to this way, red indicator brighten up, green indicator brighten up, both red and green indicator brighten up, red indicator flash, green indicator flash, both indictor extinguish, it means the seat heater is running at 5 volume different temperature allocated.

(2). First time enter cab in winter, first press switch once, the temperature is set up in highest temperature, after heating up
